Experience a summer of LEGO adventure and family fun at IET London: Savoy Place
We are excited to announce the return of our LEGO® takeover in the fully air-conditioned Heaviside Exhibition Room, open to members and their families over the summer holidays. This year comes with an inspiring addition, as part of Pride in the Quarter, say hello to our sponsored lion just outside, a sculpture that forms part of a free public art trail in the heart of central London.
With around 10,000 LEGO bricks available, aspiring engineers can create their own masterpieces or contribute to existing designs. Feeling inspired after meeting our Pride in the Quarter lion? Why not try building your own version in LEGO® while you’re here. Younger children will have an area with larger bricks, ensuring fun for all ages.
From 27 July to 28 August 2026, we will be open Monday to Friday, 9am to 4.30pm.
Our Faraday Kitchen lunch menu will include a special child-friendly lunch option, ensuring everyone can enjoy a delightful meal.
Martyn Westcott-Wreford, Operations Manager, IET London: Savoy Place, says: “We are delighted to be opening our doors to members and their families again this summer.
