The IET has been closely monitoring the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) outbreak and like many other organisations, we are making preparations to delay and mitigate the impact of the virus to protect our staff, members, volunteers and everyone we work with.

Following the Prime Ministers’ briefing on Monday 16 March and the update in the UK Government’s guidance, the IET has decided as of 18 March, both IET London: Savoy Place and IET Birmingham: Austin Court will be closed to the public and will remain closed until further notice.

Since its construction in the late 19th century, the building has undergone much refurbishment. The most recent, in 2015, which added new meeting rooms and a member first area dedicated to IET members.

 

The Riverside Room at IET London: Savoy Place has undergone £280k of AV investment.

The investment allows the room to be used in full landscape format, with every delegate in the room having full visibility of any event thanks to new screens and improved audio.

We offer versatile spaces ranging from the large and impressive to the small and intimate.

Our rooms can be hired for meetings, conferences, training sessions, awards dinners, corporate receptions, exhibitions, fashion shows, product launches, AGMs and other functions.
