For more than 100 years, Savoy Place has undergone constant development to cater to the rapidly evolving needs of conference-goers.
Today, we offer two lecture theatres for 626 guests, a further 14 event spaces across three floors, and a roof terrace overlooking panoramic London scenes.
As the Institution of Engineering and Technology, our venue is well used for STEM business events. Even after a £30m refurbishment in 2013-2015, we continue to innovate facilities to remain the leading technology-focused conference venue.
A series of more recent renovations has bridged the gap for a seamless shift towards virtual and hybrid events.
As many who have held events with us before will know, each of our teams highly values customer service, from operations and sales to production and tech services.
We strive to deliver bespoke and personal services aided by exceptional technology, without losing the human touch.
Following news of the double shortlisting, Sean Spencer, Head of IET Venues and Facilities said: “This has come at a great time to recognise the hard work of the venue team over the past 18 months to establish Savoy Place as an ever-evolving adaptable events solution with unparalleled technical expertise.
The way the team has responded to the unavoidable challenges of the pandemic has been commendable and is reflected in the fantastic feedback we have been receiving from clients. We’re thrilled to be shortlisted and are very much looking forward to the event in November.”
Winners for the awards will be announced at a ceremony hosted by The Kia Oval, London on Friday 19 November.
