Book a meeting space

Within the Faraday Centre, there are three different spaces for members to use free of charge, giving you some extra space and privacy tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the lounge.

The Ayrton and Hopper rooms are available to book Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, for a maximum of four people at a time (one member and up to three guests). 

The Ayrton and Hopper rooms will be available to book for the following slots:

  • 9am – 11am
  • 11am - 1pm
  • 1pm - 3pm
  • 3pm - 5pm

The meeting booths are also available Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, on a first-come, first-served basis.

Hopper Meeting Room

This small room can cater for between two and four people, ideal for meetings and interviews.

The room features a 32” HD screen, a whiteboard and a flipchart, a conference phone and an in-built desktop PC with USB camera and microphone to facilitate web-based videoconferencing meetings.

The Hopper Room can be used free of charge for up to two hours per day and is limited to two bookings per week.

Ayrton Room

This room can accommodate between two and four people and is equipped with a 65” touchscreen/PC, a whiteboard and a flipchart, conference phone, and an in-built desktop PC with USB camera and microphone to facilitate web-based videoconference meetings.

The Ayrton Room can be used free of charge for up to two hours per day and is limited to two bookings per week.

Meeting booths

Meeting booths offer semi-private meeting space for two people. Each booth has a 32” HD screen and are available on a first-come-first-served basis.

Other rooms

Members who would like to book a larger meeting room, a room for longer than two hours, or space for a corporate event benefit from preferential rates.
