Your choice of reception rooms: We have two stunning spaces for you to choose from, each offering a wedding venue equally characterful in their own right. Both rooms are able to hold wedding ceremonies thanks to our wedding license.

• Riverside Room - Bright, spacious, endless possibilities.

  This blank canvas can be used as one large space for up to 250 guests or partitioned into different areas to suit your occasion. The large screens around the room are a great way to engage guests with photos or videos on your special day. Large windows throughout the room and a private balcony mean that guests can appreciate the superb views across the capital. Plus, there’s the option to add the Johnson Roof Terrace as part of your wedding venue, to give your guests the best views of London and to provide the bride and groom with exceptional photo opportunities. 

• Maxwell Library - Decadent, classic, characterful

  A characterful room that used to house the IET’s library still retains its historic charm and is the perfect wedding reception venue to celebrate your special day with up to 120 guests. The floor-to-ceiling windows provide superb views and lots of light into the room. There’s also direct access to two private balconies with views over the River Thames.

Creative catering: No matter the size of your reception, our in-house caterers can cater for it; from simple drinks and canapés to a decedent sit-down three-course meal.

Using seasonal, locally sourced ingredients wherever possible, the food our chefs serve is as creative as it is delicious and we’re happy to work with you on a bespoke menu so that every detail of your wedding reception is perfect.

Menu tastings can also be arranged on request.

Venue location: Set on London’s Embankment, travelling to and from Savoy Place couldn’t be easier, with all the major transport links right on our doorstep, including rail, underground and riverboat.

With the Savoy Hotel as our neighbours, we can also recommend a range of other nearby hotels to suit all budgets for guests looking to stay in London and near the wedding venue. We can even help negotiate rates!

Advice and support: There’s nothing our in-house event team likes more than helping a happy couple create a truly magical and memorable day.

You’ll have a dedicated wedding coordinator on hand to offer advice and support at every stage of the wedding reception planning process.

Accessibility for all: There are no problems getting your guests into the building thanks to our Sesame lift which allows stone steps to retract automatically for wheelchair access.

Extra lifts have been added to help smooth the flow of people through the building.
